Magic Class! My favorite part of the week aboard the Disney Fantasy.
Another rollicking show at the Historic Cedarville Opera House. I joined Rob Torres, John Ekin and the wonderful band, Blue Moon Soup onstage to raise some money and put on a fun show. We did both! Thanks to everyone who came out to support us.
I’m truly honored by the recognition given to me at the Magic Castle Awards in Los Angeles this past week. I was awarded with a Performing Fellowship by the Academy of Magical Arts and Sciences.
The ceremony was held at the Orphium Theater and was quite a gathering of great magicians. Many friends and childhood heroes were there. I was happy that my family was with me and could share the experience.
I’ve been visiting and performing at the Magic Castle for 30 years and have loved every minute of it. It’s a very special place for those who practice and study our art.
Almost show time in the Walt Disney Theater aboard the Disney Fantasy.
What makes a magic convention memorable? The venue? The food? The show? No, it’s the people! The crazy, brilliant, wonderful friends you reconnect with year after year. The 2013 Blackpool convention was thick with old and new friends.
